This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through stylevault.com operated by StyleVault Commerce Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U74999KA2024PTC185678). We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, we are here to help.

1. Standard Return Window

You may return most unworn, unused items with all original tags attached within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund or exchange. Items must be in their original packaging, including dust bags, garment covers, and accessory boxes where applicable.

• Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and free from perfume, deodorant, or makeup stains.
• All original tags, labels, and hygiene seals must be intact.
• Footwear must be tried on indoors only; scuffed soles are not eligible for return.
• Items must be returned in their original brand packaging (shoe boxes, garment bags, etc.).

2. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or materially different from what was described, you may initiate a return within 7 days of delivery. We will provide a full refund including shipping costs or a replacement at no additional charge.

• Please photograph the defect/damage and include images when initiating your return request.
• Defective items are eligible for free return pickup regardless of order value.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following categories of items cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene, safety, or customization reasons:

• Intimate wear — lingerie, bras, underwear, shapewear, and hosiery.
• Swimwear — if the hygiene liner has been removed or the item has been worn.
• Altered or tailored items — any product that has been altered, hemmed, or customized after delivery.
• Beauty & personal care products — opened or used skincare, makeup, fragrances, and grooming products.
• Jewellery — earrings and body jewellery (piercing items) for hygiene reasons.
• Gift cards — digital and physical gift cards are non-refundable.
• Personalized/monogrammed items — products made to your specifications.
• Face masks — cloth and fashion face coverings.

4. How to Initiate a Return

1. Log in to your StyleVault account and navigate to My Orders.
2. Select the order containing the item(s) you wish to return.
3. Click "Return Item" and select your reason for return.
4. Choose your preferred resolution: Refund or Exchange.
5. A return pickup will be scheduled within 48 hours at your registered delivery address.
6. Pack the item securely with all original tags and packaging.
7. Hand over the package to the pickup agent and retain the pickup receipt.

Alternatively, you may drop off your return at any of our partner logistics centres. Contact support@stylevault.com for the nearest location.

5. Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, your refund will be processed as follows:

• Credit/Debit Card: 7–10 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank statement.
• StyleVault Wallet: Within 24 hours of return approval.
• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM): 3–5 business days.
• Net Banking: 5–7 business days.
• Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refund to StyleVault Wallet within 24 hours, or to bank account within 7–10 business days upon providing bank details.

You will receive an email and SMS notification at each stage of the refund process.

6. Exchange Policy

We offer free exchanges for size or colour variations, subject to availability. If the desired size/colour is unavailable, we will process a full refund. Exchange requests follow the same 30-day window and condition requirements as returns.

• Exchanges are limited to one per item.
• If the exchange item is of a higher value, you will be charged the difference.
• If the exchange item is of a lower value, the difference will be refunded to your original payment method.

7. Shipping Costs for Returns

• Defective/damaged items: Free return shipping. We bear all costs.
• Change-of-mind returns: A flat ₹99 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
• Exchanges: Free return and re-delivery shipping for the first exchange.

8. Sale & Discounted Items

• Items purchased at a discount of up to 49% follow the standard 30-day return policy.
• Items purchased at a discount of 50% or more are marked as Final Sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.
• Final Sale items are clearly marked on the product page and during checkout.
• Defective Final Sale items may still be returned within 7 days under our defective products policy.

9. Marketplace Seller Items

Items sold by third-party sellers on the StyleVault marketplace are subject to the individual seller's return policy, which is displayed on the product page. StyleVault Buyer Protection guarantees that all marketplace orders are eligible for at least a 7-day return window for items not as described.

10. International Returns

For orders shipped outside India, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or damaged. International returns must be shipped via a trackable service. Customs duties and taxes paid on the original order are non-refundable and are subject to the policies of your country's customs authority.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website stylevault.com and all related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by StyleVault Commerce Pvt. Ltd. ("StyleVault", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of India with CIN: U74999KA2024PTC185678. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing, or making a purchase on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make purchases on the Platform.
• If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may use the Platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
• By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Account Terms

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
• One person or entity may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts may be merged or terminated.

4. Product Descriptions, Pricing & Availability

• We strive to display product colours, dimensions, and descriptions as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display will accurately represent the actual product.
• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
• In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
• Product availability is subject to change and we do not guarantee that items will remain in stock.

5. Order Process & Acceptance

1. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline your order at our discretion.
2. An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs only when the item is dispatched and you receive a shipping confirmation.
3. We reserve the right to limit order quantities, refuse orders, or cancel orders that appear to be placed by resellers or for fraudulent purposes.

6. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• UPI: Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, Paytm UPI, and all UPI-enabled apps.
• Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay.
• Net Banking: All major Indian banks.
• Digital Wallets: Paytm, Amazon Pay, Google Pay Wallet.
• Cash on Delivery (COD): Available on eligible orders up to ₹25,000. An additional COD handling fee of ₹49 may apply.
• EMI: No-cost and low-cost EMI available on select banks for orders above ₹3,000.
• StyleVault Wallet & Gift Cards.

All payments are processed through PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways. StyleVault does not store your complete card details.

7. Shipping & Delivery

• Free shipping on all prepaid orders above ₹2,999.
• Standard delivery: 3–7 business days for metro cities; 5–10 business days for other locations.
• Express delivery: 1–3 business days (available in select cities, additional charges apply).
• International shipping: 7–21 business days depending on the destination. Customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
• Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. StyleVault is not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other factors beyond our control.

8. Seller Marketplace Terms

StyleVault operates as a marketplace platform where third-party sellers ("Sellers") can list and sell products. In relation to marketplace transactions:

• The contract of sale for marketplace items is between you and the Seller. StyleVault acts as a facilitator.
• All Sellers are verified and must comply with StyleVault's quality and authenticity standards.
• StyleVault Buyer Protection covers all marketplace purchases for authenticity, accurate descriptions, and delivery guarantees.
• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their product descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
• Disputes with Sellers are mediated by StyleVault's customer service team in accordance with our dispute resolution process.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio/video, software, and design — is the property of StyleVault or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. User-Generated Content

• By posting reviews, ratings, photos, or comments ("User Content") on the Platform, you grant StyleVault a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content.
• You represent that your User Content is truthful, does not infringe third-party rights, and complies with applicable laws.
• We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove User Content that is abusive, defamatory, misleading, or violates these Terms.
• Fake reviews or incentivized reviews (without disclosure) are strictly prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• StyleVault's total liability for any claim arising from or related to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
• StyleVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.

12. Dispute Resolution

• In the event of any dispute, you agree to first contact our customer service team at support@stylevault.com for an amicable resolution.
• If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it may be referred to mediation under the rules of the Indian Council of Arbitration.
• Consumer complaints may be filed under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
• You may also lodge complaints on the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) at 1800-11-4000 or the e-daakhil.nic.in portal.
• Nothing in these Terms restricts your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian law.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

c) Device & Technical Information

• Location data (city/region level, derived from IP address).

• Order fulfilment: Processing orders, payments, shipping, and returns.

All payment processing is handled by PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment gateways. StyleVault does not store your complete credit/debit card number, CVV, or UPI PIN. Tokenised card data may be stored by the payment gateway for faster future checkouts, in compliance with RBI guidelines on card tokenisation.

4. Marketing Communications

• We may send you promotional communications via email, SMS, push notifications, and WhatsApp with your explicit consent.
• You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email, replying STOP to SMS, or updating your notification preferences in your account settings.
• Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications (order updates, security alerts, etc.).

5. Third-Party Sharing

We may share your personal data with the following categories of third parties:

• Marketplace Sellers: Name, shipping address, and order details necessary to fulfil your order.
• Logistics Partners: Shipping address, phone number, and order details for delivery and returns (e.g., Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC).
• Payment Processors: Payment information for transaction processing (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree, Paytm Payment Gateway).
• Analytics Providers: Anonymized/aggregated usage data for analytics and performance monitoring (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Marketing Partners: Email/phone (hashed) for targeted advertising on social media platforms, with your consent.
• Law Enforcement: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of StyleVault and its users.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023

As a data principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:

• Right to Correction & Erasure: Request correction of inaccurate data or erasure of data that is no longer necessary.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed on stylevault.com, operated by StyleVault Commerce Pvt. Ltd. We strive to deliver your fashion finds as quickly and safely as possible.

1. Shipping Partners

We have partnered with India's leading logistics providers to ensure reliable and timely delivery:

• BlueDart — Premium express and time-definite delivery
• Delhivery — Nationwide reach with real-time tracking
• DTDC — Extensive coverage including tier-2 and tier-3 cities
• Ecom Express — Specialised e-commerce logistics with COD support

2. Shipping Options & Charges

Free shipping is automatically applied on all orders with a cart value of ₹2,999 or above (before discount codes).

3. Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery is available in select metropolitan cities for orders placed before 12:00 PM IST:

• Bengaluru
• Mumbai
• Delhi / New Delhi
• Hyderabad

Same-day delivery is subject to product and pin code availability. A fee of ₹299 applies.

4. Serviceable Areas

We currently deliver to 18,000+ pin codes across India. You can check serviceability by entering your pin code on the product page or at checkout. We continuously expand our delivery network to reach more locations.

5. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays). Orders placed after 5:00 PM IST may be processed the next business day. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is dispatched.

6. Order Tracking

• You will receive email and SMS notifications at every stage: order confirmed, packed, shipped, out for delivery, and delivered.
• A real-time tracking link is provided in your shipping confirmation email and is also available under My Orders in your account.
• You can also track your order by entering the AWB (tracking) number on the courier partner's website.

7. Delivery Attempt Policy

• Our delivery partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts over 5 business days.
• If you are unavailable, the delivery agent will attempt to contact you via phone before marking the attempt as unsuccessful.
• After 3 unsuccessful attempts, the package will be returned to our warehouse.

8. Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to our warehouse due to failed delivery attempts, incorrect address, or refusal of delivery:

• A full refund will be initiated within 10–15 business days to your original payment method.
• If you paid via COD, the refund will be processed to your StyleVault Wallet.
• You are welcome to place a new order with the correct address details.

9. Cash on Delivery (COD)

• COD is available for orders up to ₹25,000.
• A nominal COD handling charge of ₹49 applies per order.
• COD is available at 15,000+ pin codes across India.
• Please keep the exact amount ready at the time of delivery.

10. Seller-Shipped Items

Certain items sold by marketplace sellers are shipped directly by the seller. Delivery timelines for seller-shipped items may vary:

• Estimated delivery: 3–10 business days depending on the seller's location and shipping method.
• Tracking information will be shared once the seller dispatches the order.
• StyleVault Buyer Protection covers all marketplace orders.

11. Gift Packaging

Make your order extra special with our premium gift packaging service, available for ₹99 per item. Includes a branded gift box, tissue paper wrapping, a personalised gift note card, and a ribbon finish. Select "Gift Wrap" at checkout.

12. Festival Season Delivery

During major festival periods (Diwali, Christmas, Eid, etc.), delivery timelines may be extended by 2–3 additional business days due to high order volumes and courier network congestion. We recommend placing festival orders early to ensure timely delivery.

13. International Shipping

International shipping is currently not available. We are working to bring StyleVault's curated fashion to customers worldwide and plan to launch international shipping by 2027. Stay tuned for updates!

14. Shipping Restrictions

The following items have special shipping considerations:

• Hazardous materials, flammable items, and aerosol products may have restricted shipping to certain pin codes.
• Oversized or heavy items (furniture, large home decor) may incur additional shipping charges, which will be displayed at checkout.
• Fragile items (glass, ceramics) are shipped with extra protective packaging at no additional cost.

How to File a Grievance

2. Step 2: If unsatisfied with the support team's resolution, email grievance@stylevault.com with the subject line: "Grievance — [Your Order ID / Issue Summary]."
3. Step 3: Include the following details in your grievance email:

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and procedures for cancelling orders placed on stylevault.com, operated by StyleVault Commerce Pvt. Ltd.

1. Cancellation Before Shipment

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been shipped. Orders in "Processing" or "Confirmed" status are eligible for cancellation.

• A full refund will be issued to your original payment method.
• No cancellation charges apply.
• Refund will be processed immediately upon cancellation.

2. Cancellation After Shipment

Once your order has been shipped (status: "Shipped" or "Out for Delivery"), it cannot be cancelled. However, you have two options:

• Refuse delivery — You may refuse to accept the package when the delivery agent arrives. The item will be returned to our warehouse and a full refund will be initiated.
• Return after delivery — Accept the delivery and initiate a return under our 30-day Return Policy.

3. How to Cancel an Order

1. Log in to your StyleVault account.
2. Go to My Orders.
3. Find the order you wish to cancel and click "Cancel Order."
4. Select a reason for cancellation from the dropdown.
5. Confirm the cancellation.
6. You will receive an email and SMS confirming the cancellation and refund details.

4. Partial Cancellation (Multi-Item Orders)

If your order contains multiple items, you may cancel individual items without affecting the rest of the order.

• Go to My Orders, select the order, and click "Cancel" next to the specific item(s) you wish to remove.
• The refund for cancelled items will be processed while the remaining items continue to be processed and shipped.
• Note: If cancelling items brings the order total below ₹2,999, the free shipping benefit will no longer apply. Any shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.

6. Seller-Shipped Items

For items shipped directly by marketplace sellers, cancellation is permitted within 24 hours of placing the order only. After 24 hours, seller-shipped items cannot be cancelled but can be returned after delivery under the applicable return policy.

7. Custom / Personalised Items

Products that are custom-made, monogrammed, or personalised to your specifications cannot be cancelled after 2 hours of order placement, as production may have already begun. This includes engraved jewellery, custom-fit garments, and monogrammed accessories.

8. StyleVault Premium Subscription Cancellation

• You may cancel your StyleVault Premium subscription at any time from your Account Settings.
• If cancelled within 7 days of purchase and no Premium benefits have been used, a full refund of ₹999 will be issued.
• If cancelled after 7 days or after using benefits, the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period (1 year) with no refund.
• Premium benefits (free shipping, early access, personal stylist) cease at the end of the billing period.

9. Frequent Cancellation Notice

StyleVault reserves the right to limit or restrict ordering privileges for accounts that exhibit an unusually high cancellation rate (more than 50% of orders cancelled over any 30-day period). This is to ensure fair service for all customers and to minimise operational waste. Affected accounts will be notified via email before any restrictions are applied.

10. Auto-Cancellation

Orders may be automatically cancelled by our system in the following situations:

• Payment failure: If payment is not completed within 30 minutes of order placement (for non-COD orders).
• Item out of stock: If an item becomes unavailable after you place your order (rare but possible during high-demand sales). You will be notified immediately and a full refund will be issued.
• Seller unable to fulfil: If a marketplace seller is unable to fulfil your order. A full refund will be issued and you will be notified with alternative product recommendations.
• Suspicious activity: Orders flagged by our fraud detection system may be cancelled for security purposes. If your legitimate order is affected, contact support for immediate resolution.
